Norwalk Officers Honored By Connecticut MADD For DUI Work

NORWALK, Conn. – 3 Norwalk officers were honored by Mothers Against Drunk Driving for their efforts to assist reduce the number of cases related to driving under the influence in the city.

For individuals taken into custody for DUI in the previous year, Officers Tyrone Boyd, James Mosher and Christopher Wasilewski accounted for 38 percent of the total number.

Wasilewski was at the top with 34 DUI arrests made. Mosher got the award for the past 7 years and Boyd has got it for the past 6 years.

They were honored on 20th of May Wednesday during Connecticut M.A.D.D.’s annual Law Enforcement Recognition Ceremony.

According to Kulhawik, “These officers’ self-assurance to keep trusting drivers and pedestrians from a aroused and senseless, nonetheless preventable crime of pushing underneath a change can’t be overstated.”
