Police Arrest Alleged Drunk Driver for taking out Street Signs

Ridgefield Police arrested a 35-year-old man with DUI

A 35-year-old man was arrested for DUI after he reportedly damaged a guardrail, a crosswalk sign and a stop sign.

The incident took place near the intersection of South Street and Ligi Way at about 12:30 a.m. on Jan. 30.

According to police reports, the man was identified as David Tyler of Sylvan Drive in Ridgefield.

Tyler was charged with driving under the influence, failure to drive right and driving without insurance.

He was released on a $100 bond.
