Connecticut woman charged with DUI in Fairfield Store Crash

FAIRFIELD, Conn. – Rosa Blanca, 31, accused of crashing her car into a convenience store at up to 70 mph and leaving 4 people injured, has been charged with DUI and other crimes.

She was charged with driving under the influence, reckless driving and other crimes on Monday.

According to the police, Chavarria-Medina was exiting Interstate 95 in Fairfield on 24th of March when her vehicle smashed into 5 cars outside a Cumberland Farms store and crashed into the storefront.

4 individuals were taken to the hospital for treatment of injuries they sustained.

Fortunately, nobody was seriously injured or in critical condition.

Chavarria-Medina’s BAC level was more than thrice the legal limit of driving.

She posted $5,000 bail.
