Clinton, Conn. – Kenneth Palifka, 67, is accused of asking other people for breath samples so he could bypass a DUI ignition device installed in his vehicle after he was convicted of DUI.
On Monday, Clinton police charged Palifka with avoidance of an ignition interlock device in which an alcohol-free breath sample is required to start a vehicle.
According to the police, Palifka and one of his friends https://ativanshop.com went boating on Long Island Sound and consumed too much alcohol on Monday. After they returned to a marina, Palifka couldn’t start his vehicle and asked others for breath samples said the authorities.
According to court records, Palifka is serving 2 years of probation for 2 drunk driving convictions.
It is not confirmed if he has a lawyer.
