Three People Charged With Drunk Driving Over The Weekend

MILFORD – According to the police, 3 individuals were charged for driving under the influence of alcohol over the weekend and it included a person who was taken into custody for the hit-and-run accident.

55-year-old Nicky Mora was taken into custody on Saturday and was charged with multiple offenses including:

  • Driving under the influence of alcohol
  • Evading responsibility
  • Failure to drive in the lane

He hit a car near Old Gate Lane and fled west on New Haven Avenue where he was pulled over by the cops. He was arrested at about 11 p.m.

34-year-old Elizabeth Paliwonda was taken into custody for the suspected hit-and-run. According to the cops, they found him driving the suspected vehicle in Pearl Hill Street parking lot.

The both offenders were summoned to court on 16th of November 2017 and they were released from the custody after posting $500 bonds. The cops took the breath sample and they had BAC level higher than the legal limit.

19-year-old Benjamin Wissner was taken into custody on Monday. The location of the arrest was in the parking lot of the Mayflower hotel at 219 Woodmont Road and the timing was 1:14 a.m. The cop asked for the breath sample and he refused to submit. His bond was set at $500.
