Attorney John Bowdren
John Bowdren attended Fairfield Prep from 1983-1985 and graduated from The Highcroft School in Williamstown, Massachusetts in 1986.
Following graduation, John was enlisted in the United States Marine Corps as a Fire Direction Controlman assigned to Batteries in Camp Lejeune and two tours in Okinawa, Japan. He obtained certifications as a primary marksman instructor, motorcycle courier, and in advanced fire direction control. John's units conducted military exercises in Hokkaido, Japan, South Korea, Puerto Rico, and Guantanamo Bay, Cuba. John was honorably discharged in 1990.
John shortly after attended the Indiana University Summer Intensive Language Institute in his study of the Japanese language. John continued his east Asian Studies at the University of the Pacific in Stockton, California. John received his B.A. in Interdisciplinary Studies from the University of Baltimore in 1995.
After graduating from The Quinnipiac School of Law in 2003, he worked as an associate in the Law Office of Joseph Mirsky in Bridgeport, Connecticut. John opened his own office in Milford, Connecticut in 2005 as a general practitioner whose primary focus was criminal defense, personal injury, and landlord/tenant disputes. While in Milford, John served as Vice-Chair of the Milford Chapter of the American Red Cross Board of Directors.
John's vast life experiences have greatly assisted his ability in relating to clients of varied backgrounds. John has represented clients in courts throughout the state of Connecticut and looks forward to addressing the needs of all with criminal defense and personal injury representation.
