Connecticut State Police Arrest Over-Speeding Drunk Driver

KILLINGLY – 39-year-old Matthew Deyette, of Shrewsbury, Massachusetts, was arrested Sunday morning for driving drunk and driving at high speed.

While he was driving, Deyette passed a trooper on Interstate 395. The trooper was conducting speed enforcement and he recorded Dayette driving at 95 mph. The driver then passed a second trooper at a traffic stop at exit 92 where his speed was recorded at 122 mph. While driving, he accelerated past several vehicles on the right.

State police pulled him over after he was clocked driving at 122 mph. Deyette faced multiple charges including drunk driving and reckless driving. He was later released after posting $500 bond.
